德国2018年11月2日发行全套2枚，面值0.7欧元，第一枚为圣诞雪橇，第二枚为夏加尔・圣母与圣婴（慈善附捐圣诞邮票）并附带30欧分的附加费用于慈善用途。邮票的图案为二十世纪最伟大的现代艺术家之一——马克·夏加尔（Marc Chagall）为德国美因茨圣斯德望教堂（St. Stephan）所创作的彩色玻璃花窗圣母玛利亚怀抱圣婴（耶稣）的经典神圣场景。整枚邮票被浓郁、通透且深邃的蓝色所包裹，这是夏加尔最具标志性的艺术色彩（被称为“夏加尔蓝”）。首日封贴2枚慈善附捐圣诞邮票，符合寄往中国的国际航空信函起重邮资。

On November 2, 2018, Germany issued a set of two stamps, each with a face value of €0.70. The first stamp features a Christmas sleigh, and the second stamp depicts Marc Chagall's "Madonna and Child" (a charity Christmas stamp with a surcharge of €0.30 for charitable purposes). The design of the stamp is based on the stained glass window created by Marc Chagall, one of the greatest modern artists of the 20th century, for St. Stephan's Church in Mainz, Germany. The window shows the classic sacred scene of the Virgin Mary holding the infant Jesus. The entire stamp is enveloped in a rich, translucent, and deep blue, Chagall's most iconic artistic color, often referred to as "Chagall Blue." The first-day cover is affixed with the two charity Christmas stamps, making up the required postage for the initial weight of an international airmail letter sent to China.
